WITAQ (pronounced "WIT-UH-QUE") is Maliq Cunningham, a Pittsburgh, PA-based artist born March 20, 2000. His sound bridges raw lyricism with smooth, emotional production — drawing comparisons to Kehlani and Leon Thomas. His 2025 album *I Just Want Love* is his most mature work, featuring collaborations with RAW, Livefromthecity, Teiara Lynn, Najj Andrea, and Aye Cee. He also runs his own record label and produces some of his own music, making him one of Pittsburgh's most versatile emerging voices. His 2024 EP *This One's For Me* and album *APHRODISIAQ* further showcase his evolution from introspective storyteller to a full sonic architect. His latest single "Pretty Girls" (March 2026) continues his streak of emotionally charged, melodically rich releases.
